An interesting choice

In the long list of things that don't surprise us anymore, the players that fellow pro's select for their team of the year is right up there. The rules state that you can't choose anyone from your own club so that should make things a bit handier for players in teams down the league. However if you can't vote for the outstanding player in the Premier League this season because he plays alongside you then you may find yourself in quite a pickle. And this seems to be the fate that has befallen John Terry who isn't able to vote for Eden Hazard, but has strangely gone for a player who's only scored four goals all season. Oh and he plays for Liverpool. The former England defender has revealed on his Instagram page this afternoon that he's selected Philippe Coutinho as his PFA Player of the Year while he's gone for Harry Kane as his young player selection. Terry isn't a man who afraid of a bit of controversy, but we doubt that Chelsea fans would ever have thought that he's be selecting a player from Liverpool as the best in the league.
