Third kits are chances for teams to get a bit more creative.

They don't have to stay too faithful to a colour scheme or traditional design as is often the case with home and away iterations. It's rare that you actually get to see a side's third kit and it's usually worn more as a marketing tool to entice fans to buy one than out of any real necessity. In all honesty, we'll be lucky to see AC Milan's third shirt more than a handful of times next season which is a crying shame when you consider its pulchritude... that's fancy talk for beautiful. milan-16-17-third-kit-2 The Rossoneri have gone for a bold, yet simultaneously jazzy design, with an all-black torso fading into white sleeves in a style that looks as though it's been spraypainted on.
