Contrary to popular belief football did not begin in 1992
In 1989 there was arguably the most dramatic conclusion to a season in the top flight of all time, as Michael Thomas' injury time strike for Arsenal at Anfield sealed the victory by 'two clear goals' that secured the First Division title for the Gooners at the expense of Kenny Dalglish's Liverpool.
Lee Dixon was part of George Graham's side that night - it was his long pass to Alan Smith that helped create the goal - and he is clearly still rejoicing in the moment as he enjoys his morning cuppa.
The cup has the BBC Ceefax results page (316 as far as we can remember) from that Friday night when Arsenal clinched the title.
