Five-year-old Reece Kenny has sent his best wishes to Ireland captain Seamus Coleman.
Reece and his seven-year-old brother Cody, who are both from Offaly, met Coleman last Thursday before the Wales game.
The Everton full-back was, of course, the victim of a reckless challenge from Neil Taylor that could see him ruled out until 2018 and Reece has penned this letter to the 28-year-old from Donegal, which we know Coleman will appreciate.
Reece writes: "To Seamus, I love you, you are the best soccer player. My brother and I met you last Thursday before the Wales match. You were so kind and friendly to us. You are our hero. We were at the match and we were so sad for you that your bones are broken, we hope you get better really soon. Love from Reece Kenny (5) and my brother Cody (7) from Offaly."Thanks to Reece and Cody's mam Michelle for sending this our way.
