The speculation can finally cease - Real Madrid's office has a completely functional fax machine.
David De Gea's failed deadline day transfer to the Bernabeu led many to take the mick out of Real's secretarial abilities. The mockery continued after Rafa Benitez fielded Denis Cheryshev against Cadiz in the Copa del Rey midweek, unaware that the player should have been seeing out a one-game ban for a series of bookings picked up when lining out for Villareal last season. But we have proof that the fax machine at the Bernabeu is in full working order as Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper Antonio Rodríguez Martínez has provided evidence.

The veteran stopper tweeted out a picture of a fax sent by Real Madrid who wished Martinez luck in his recovery from injury.
