Pic: Bastian Schweinsteiger pays tribute to Dublin man who died in Berkeley tragedy

Bastian Schweinsteiger has paid tribute to Nick Schuster, who tragically lost his life in Berkely earlier this week.

Nick was one of the six Irish people who sadly died in after a balcony collapsed in apartment block in Berkeley earlier this week. One of Nick's friends tagged his favourite footballer, Bastian Schweinsteiger in a post on Facebook. The post featured a photo of Nick with the Bayern Munich player and the following message:

"Nick was a Bayern fan. His heart is still red and white. Bastian Schweinsteiger was his favorite player. "I can't in words believe how grateful we would be all (the family and friends of Nick) if Basti makes Instagram/Facebook post about Nick and sends a letter to the family. "You will find below a picture of where Nick and Basti got to know each other."

Schweinsteiger replied to the post with a touching message of support for Nick's friends and family.

"The news makes me very sad. I wish much strength for this difficult time you, the family and all relatives of Nick. I would like to express my condolences also all other sufferers of this accident."
