Phil Bardsley’s wife explains the video that shows her husband knocking Wayne Rooney out

Contrary to popular belief, Wayne Rooney's actually a decent actor.

A video has been doing the rounds on social media today of Phil Bardsley and Wayne Rooney engaging in fisticuffs in the Manchester United striker's Chesire home. The clip shows the footballers donning boxing gloves and doing a friendly sparring session in Rooney's kitchen. Bardsly then unleashes a haymaker that caused Rooney to go crashing to the floor as if he was knocked out. There was a bit of concern from people on social media that Bardsley had maybe taken it too far and rendered the United player unconscious.
