Cody Gakpo enjoyed bit of pre-match banter with Peter Crouch and co on BT Sport this afternoon. The Dutch international was interviewed by the BT Sport team ahead of Liverpool's game against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
The 23-year-old has settled in well since he joined the Reds from PSV in January, scoring our goals in eight appearances so far. He has further endeared himself to the Liverpool fans after scoring goals against two big rivals.
BT Sport presenter Linsday Hipgrave informed Gakpo that he was "the first player since our Peter here to score against Everton and Man Utd in your first season."
Interjecting before Gakpo could respond, Crouchy joked, "Good company. He would have preferred Fowler or Rush or something."

Crouch, who signed for Liverpool in 2005, famously didn't score for 19 games before netting his first goal as a Red against Wigan Athletic. He went on to score some important goals that season including the only goal in the fifth round of the FA Cup win against Manchester United.
Gakpo scored his first goal for Liverpool in their Merseyside derby league victory over Everton in February. He also scored a brace in their 7-0 thrashing of United last week.
Hipgrave continued after Crouch's joke, asking Gakpo, "Are you really feeling the love from the fans already and I'm sure those two goals have helped?"
The striker replied with, "yeah, it's a really great club and the supporters are amazing. Even when we didn't win the games they were still coming to the away games and at home they are really supporting us. Yeah, it's a really great crowd.
