Seamus Coleman didn't deserve to be on the losing side on Monday night.
Make no mistake about it! Liverpool were the much better team for the majority of the Merseyside derby but Seamus Coleman would definitely have been in the running for Man of the Match honours.
The first half saw the Everton full back maraud forward at will and beat his man repeatedly before trying to find Romelu Lukaku's head with viciously whipped in crosses.

Coleman did his job admirably and poured every ounce of energy into the performance, chasing every lost cause and providing every positive that came from an otherwise underwhelming Toffees side.
At 1-0 down, the Killybegs man came out with one of the greatest goalline clearances you're ever going to see to deny Roberto Firmino a goal and Liverpool breathing room.
Coleman kept his side in the fight by exhibiting incredible athleticism and intelligence to launch himself across the line and prevent Everton from falling 2-0 behind.
Even in defeat, it was a formidable performance from the Republic of Ireland captain and one that resulted in a popular conclusion - perhaps Coleman has finally outgrown Goodison Park.
