With Pep Guardiola's revelation that he would be leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season and announcement that he would be interested in a Premier League job, the ears of chairmen and fans perked up. Many believe that it's a two-horse race for the Spaniard's services with the Manchester City and Manchester United reportedly battling it out for his signature. But Guardiola has thrown a spanner in the works with his most recent comments that suggest he may not be ready to set up shop in the Premier League until 2018. “When I sign a contract I will announce it immediately," Guardiola said ahead of Bayern's first game since the winter break.

"Maybe it will be two years until I will coach a team in England.

“I am very happy about my experience in Munich. I am working until my last second here. “After that I will go home and wait to see if it is possible to move to England or not. If it's not, then I won't."
