That was not the debut he was hoping for.

If Tony Adams was under any illusion regarding the mammoth task he has to undertake, he certainly does now. Adams' first game in charge of Granada took place on Sunday night when his side hosted Celta Vigo at Los Carmenes. Granada succumbed to a 3-0 defeat as a goal in the first half and two in the second leave Granada seven points from safety with only six games remaining. It always takes time for a new manager to get his messages across and put his stamp on a team but you usually get an initial burst of improved performance straight away and that just didn't happen.
