Paul Pogba reveals why he rejected Real Madrid for Manchester United return

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has revealed that he turned down a move to Real Madrid before returning to Old Trafford. United paid a then world record fee to bring the Frenchman back to the club from Juventus in the summer of 2016, four years after joining the Italian side having grown frustrated at the lack of opportunities in Alex Ferguson's side. Pogba has been highly influential under Jose Mourinho but was suspended for the defeat to Manchester City following his red card against Arsenal for a rash challenge on Hector Bellerin. He also won't be available for selection for Wednesday night's game against Bournemouth.
