Not content with giving Zinedine Zidane's son Enzo a debut goal in midweek, the football gods are doing everything they can to make us all feel ancient.
The latest son of an icon to get among the goals is Justin Kluivert, son of former Ajax, Barcelona and Newcastle striker Patrick.
17-year-old Justin is playing for Jong Ajax in the Dutch second tier, and got his name on the scoresheet against Cambuur when he tucked home the rebound from his own saved penalty.

Unlike his father, the younger Kluivert is a winger rather than an out-and-out striker, but that doesn't mean he lacks his old man's eye for goal.
Indeed, Justin's first professional goal came at a younger age than Patrick's, albeit not by much.

We probably shouldn't forget that Patrick Kluivert was still just shy of his 19th birthday when he scored the winning goal in the Champions League final.
If Justin can do the same next season we'll be impressed, given that Ajax's senior team have not got beyond the group stages of the competition since the 2005/06 season.
For now, he should probably focus on making his mark for Jong Ajax and making strides towards a bow for the multiple Eredivisie champions.
