We'll spare you all the jokes about how Manchester City could finally get their hands on a European trophy after it was announced that former Italian top flight side Parma are auctioning off their silverware to try and pay the bills.
The club, that once boasted Hernan Crespo, Lilian Thuram, Fabio Cannavaro and Gianluigi Buffon in its ranks, is bankrupt and is starting the new season in Italy in Serie D under a new name after being dissolved last season with debts of over €200 million.
If you have some spare cash around and like us loved the Italian football highlights on a Monday night, then you might like to have a bid for the three Coppa Italia trophies or the Cup Winners’ Cup from 1993 or either of the Uefa Cups from their victories in 1995 or 1999 among other silverware won by the club.

The trophies have been put up for sale by the club's administrators, but any possible sale is likely to be opposed as Uefa's guidelines state: " replica trophies awarded to winners of the competition must remain within the relevant club’s control at all times and must not leave the club’s country without Uefa’s prior written consent”.
