Meet Christian Maldini. He's just the next one destined for greatness.
Son of Paolo, grandson of Cesare, you could've forgiven the young lad for feeling the pressure of a giant shadow. Or two. But, today, in his first outing for Milan Primavera, he has already started to live up to the name.
Maldini Jr netted on his debut for the AC Milan U19 side as they trampled Perugia 7-1 and the 18-year-old needed just 36 minutes of game time to make a name for himself (as if a Maldini needs to do that) as he limped off injured before half time.
The defender still managed to score and get the Milan fans dreaming again of another Rossoneri legend coming through their ranks.
