Carlow man Padraig Amond has scored 11 goals this season for League Two's Newport County. So far, his 11th is easily his finest effort.
The minnows were matched up against Premier League high fliers Tottenham Hotspur in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
38 minutes into the game, Amond got the game's opener. The move started with a long throw that was headed away at the near post. It went as far as Robbie Willmott who controlled it before curling a pinpoint cross to the back post where Amond was waiting.
Kieran Trippier read the path of the ball totally wrong, but Amond certainly did not. He met the cross beautifully to drill home a header and send the home fans into ecstasy.

Get in!
The good people of Carlow have been on the Amond hype train for a while. They were confident he'd hit form against Spurs.
One pub even offered a pint to everyone present when (not if) Amond got his name on the scoresheet. Their confidence was definitely justified.
