Arsenal might have done well to give the rugby a break and focus on the football ahead of the second leg, round or 16 game with Monaco last night.
The Gunners won 2-0 on the night but were still dumped out of the Champions League on aggregate thanks to the 3 away goals scored by the Ligue 1 outfit a fortnight previously. And, just a thought, perhaps it's because they were too worried about their rugger skills in the build-up to the clash. Earlier this week we brought you footage of Wojciech Szczesny and Per Mertesacker practising their lineouts.
