If Stephen Fry wants to call us stupid, we'll say "fair enough, Steve," but having Wes Brown have a pop at our smarts is like having Roy Keane telling you to "chill out."

The defender has called former Manchester United teammate Anderson the "least intelligent footballer he's played with," in an interview for Sunderland's official YouTube channel. The former United player was asked a series of quick-fire questions about his former teammates and poor ol' Anderson was singled out for stupidity. Brown said that: "He [Anderson] was probably there five or six years and I honestly don't think he can speak English." Manchester United Training & Press Conference The language barrier may no longer be an issue for Anderson as he seems to be on his way out of Old Trafford after accepting a wage cut to join Gremio but the Brazilian side are still struggling to afford his wages.
