Arsenal's 'pursuit' of Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho has been ongoing forever (or maybe it just feels that way) and today there is yet another twist in this never-ending, rumour-filled tale.
The Sun is reporting that Arsenal have made a £28 million bid for the Portuguese international and hope to add him to their stellar midfield. However, Sporting are apparently holding out for a £37 million pound offer.
Carvalho is certainly a great player but the constant speculation about his future is pretty infuriating. Just make your mind up, Bill.
