Survey of 1,000 children at a UK shopping centre revealed a rather surprising result
Right now Chelsea seem unstoppable. Okay, Newcastle did manage to stop them last weekend but they have been playing like gods this season, and are deserved favourites to win the Premier League under the guidance of the man they call The Special One.
But it seems the Blues are so good that some children think that among their ranks is a fella called Jesus Christ.
The London Independent reports that Netmums surveyed 1,000 children aged between five and 12 at a shopping centre with this question; Who is Jesus Christ? a) A footballer for Chelsea b) Son of God c) TV presenter d) X Factor contestant or e) An astronaut.
One in five, 20 per cent, went with the Chelsea option. The Independent speculates that the kids were confusing the upcoming birthday boy with Manchester City's Jesus Navas but we think that might be giving too much credit to the kids, who we suspect were just having a laugh with the survey company.
At least we hope they were having a laugh
