Germany and Borussia Dortmund striker Niclas Fullkrug is close to a shock Premier League move, a report has revealed.
Gaining recent popularity as an old-school number nine, Fullkrug bagged the crucial semi-final opener for Dortmund in the first leg versus PSG.
Subsequently, he was then picked in the Germany Euro 2024 squad as the host nation reached the quarterfinals.
During this period, the striker bagged two goals in five games, including a thunderous strike in the tournament curtain-raiser against Scotland which got football fans talking.
Previously playing in the 2. Bundesliga with Greuther Furth, Fullkrug's rise to international football has been inspiring.
Now, he is advancing closer to a Premier League switch.
It is understood West Ham United are undergoing talks, which are progressing positively.
There is still work to do on the structure of the fee and personal terms, however, it was earlier reported the player is open to the move, with terms not being an issue.
There is "cautious optimism" that a deal can be struck, as per Sky Sports.
