Pitchside microphones picked up Neymar telling the fourth official of racist abuse.
Five red cards were shown in the dying minutes of Le Classique on Sunday night, as Marseille emerged from the sour episode 1-0 victors at the Parc des Princes. Neymar was one of five players to see red as chaos ensued in the final stages.
A melee was provoked by a cynical foul from Darío Benedetto on PSG midfielder Leandro Paredes while the ball was in the air. Paredes got to his feet before shoving his compatriot to the ground, and all chaos ensued, as seen in the video below.
Four red cards were shown, to Layvin Kurzawa, Leandro Paredes, Darío Benedetto and Jordan Amavi before a fifth was shown to PSG talisman Neymar, after VAR officials highlighted he had struck Alvaro Gonzalez on the back of the head.
As Neymar left the pitch, he was seen speaking to the fourth official, with pitchside microphones picking up the Brazilian saying he had reacted to racist abuse.

Téléfoot Chaine commentators have claimed that Alvaro Gonzalez uttered the following: "Shut your mouth, dirty monkey."
No comment has yet been made by Gonzalez or Olympique Marseille regarding the accusations. Marseille boss Andre Villas-Boas has said he doesn't know what happened but reiterated that "racism is unacceptable in football."
The match had been aggressive throughout, with 36 fouls committed and 12 yellow cards handed out during the 90 minutes.
The actual football was settled by a first half strike from Florian Thauvin, consigning PSG to their second defeat in two weeks following their 1-0 away loss to newly promoted Lens last weekend.
