Neymar is many things. He is arrogant and egotistical. He can be petulant when things do not go his way. He certainly rubs a lot of people up the wrong way with many of his character traits that some people would deem to represent everything wrong with modern football.
One thing can never be doubted, though: his talent. Neymar is one of the most skilled players on the planet and while his theatrics can be frustrating, it's worth remembering that he also provides us with countless magical moments on the pitch.
Whether he's rainbow flicking defenders or stealing their souls with devastating nutmegs, he's always doing something brilliant.
He also scores quite a lot of goals. On Wednesday evening, he opened the scoring for PSG against Red Star Belgrade with a spectacular free kick. He then doubled their lead shortly after before Edinson Cavani and Angel Di Maria made it 4-0 before the break.
The free kick was the pick of the goals, as it floated, curled and dipped over the wall and past the helpless goalkeeper. In truth, the wall might as well have not bothered. It was always going in.
