Newspaper introduces Manchester City to Ukraine with controversial anti-Manchester United photo

Oversight or deliberate?

Ukrainian paper Sport has published a lengthy feature on Manchester City in the build up to their Champions League encounter with Dynamo Kiev on Wednesday. They've unearthed some of old school photos of the club for the piece, one of which is a throwback to an old anti-Manchester United chant. The controversial image in question is of former City striker Uwe Rosler wearing a t-shirt which reads:

"Rosler's Grandad bombed Old Trafford, Feb 1st, 1941"

The is a reference to a terrace chant about the time the Stretford End was bombed during a Luftwaffe raid during World War II. The chant was completely fictitious and was solely developed because Rosler was born in East Germany.
