If you are Irish and you play Premier League football, there is a good chance you will be called up by the national side.
In total, since the Premier League began [following on from England's Division 1], some 172 Irish players have appeared for club sides. The large majority of those players have won senior caps for their country but some have not been as fortunate.
We are giving you 6 minutes to get the names of six experienced Premier League performers that never got capped for Ireland. Each player listed below has played at least 10 times in the league.
We are offering hints in the club they made their league outings for and the period of time those appearances were made.
