Liverpool recorded a dramatic victory over Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night.
The new Champions League campaign sparked into life with a brilliant game at Anfield. Liverpool dominated the French champions in the opening 30 minutes of the match, winning a ridiculous eight corners in a spell of play that saw PSG struggle to get out of their half.
Daniel Sturridge and James Milner gave Jurgen Klopp's side a deserved lead and it looked like being a comfortable night for the home team. However, PSG found a way back into the game and scored just before half-time through Thomas Meunier.
Liverpool kept pushing for a third goal in the second period but were hit with a sucker punch. Mohamed Salah hit a loose pass which was intercepted before Kylian Mbappe made it 2-2 with seven minutes to go.
Yet, Klopp's team managed to rescue a win. Roberto Firmino showed his class with a brilliant solo goal in stoppage time.

When the goal went in, people on social media spotted the reaction of Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian appeared to throw his water bottle to the ground.
While on first glance it might look like he is, for some reason, annoyed to see the goal go in, it's more likely that Salah was still unhappy over his performance.
Salah wasn't at his best on the night, but Firmino stepped-up to win the game. It's highly unlikely that he was unhappy to see his team win.
