An awful lot has been written and said about Aston Villa's underperforming this season and captain Micah Richards had had enough.
Arsenal legend Ian Wright was on Match of the Day on Monday night and had some choice words for the Villa captain in relation to his role as skipper of the relegation-threatened Villains.
“That’s the captain (Richards)," Wright said. "He’s got to make more of an effort than that.
“These are the reasons they are going down.”
The next morning, Richards took to Twitter to voice his anger at being discussed in such negative terms.
