But the young Dutchman has learned that the grass isn't always greener on the other side as his new partners are proving to be somewhat less attentive than he's used to. In Eindhoven, he was adored. Fans had all the time in the world for him and he felt like he was the only player who mattered. It's been a different story in Manchester, with Depay feeling unloved by United supporters who have expected more from him.
