Martin O’Neill destroys Rangers with one short sentence

Martin O'Neill was one of the most successful Celtic managers of all time, having guided the Hoops to three League titles, three Scottish Cups and a League Cup in his five seasons at Parkhead. And he still loves taking a pop at Celtic's fiercest rivals. O'Neill was recently asked for his thoughts on the current Scottish Premiership season and how dominant Celtic have been under Brendan Rodgers. The reigning champions were expected to encounter something of a challenge from Rangers this season, their first in the Scottish top flight in five years, but that hasn't really come to fruition. Celtic currently sit 24 points clear of their nearest rivals, Aberdeen, while Rangers are a further six points behind in third spot. And O'Neill is not one bit surprised as he has slammed the current Rangers side as the worst one in the club's illustrious history. "Rangers are not strong at all," the Republic of Ireland manager said on Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast. "In fact, it is possibly the poorest side I've ever known at Ibrox. "For Celtic to stay strong and be strong in Europe, they need opposition there and they need it to come from Rangers."
