Some people might say modern society is "too politically correct".

That there's too much control over free-speech and people are too quick to be offended. However, regardless of whether one is easily offended or not, something like this is just unprofessional and unnecessary. Mark Lawrenson was on moaning commentary duty for TV3's coverage of Arsenal's 2-0 win over Bayern Munich, and made an utterly stupid remark about French forward Olivier Giroud.
