The Que Golazo podcast (via Football.London) claim Chelsea - the club Sancho supported as a boy - are keeping an eye on the player's situation in Germany, and could rival United for any approach them make for him.
Dortmund are not open to the idea of selling Sancho in January, but it now seems unlikely he will remain with the Bundesliga side beyond next summer.
Though he has been linked with a move to Spain in the past, the prospect of him returning to England now seems more likely.
