Luke Shaw suffers nasty head injury in clash with Dani Carvajal

The last thing he needs right now is a serious injury.

Luke Shaw was forced off the pitch after just 50 minutes tonight after sustaining a head injury. Having got the assist to put England 1-0 up in the first half, Shaw's return to international football had started brilliantly. However, a clash with Dani Carvajal early in the second half left him apparently unconscious on the turf.
