We have a feeling Suarez is never going to let this go
You'd think Luis Suarez would be grateful to still be allowed play football at all after three (THREE) cases of him biting opponents in his career so far.
But the Uruguayan is still grumbling about how his most recent nibble was treated by the powers that be.
After lodging his gnashers into Giorgio Chiellini's shoulder during the World Cup, Suarez was initially banned for nine internationals and for four months from all football activity. On appeal he was then allowed to train and play in non-competitive matches and finally he resumed his career at the end of October for new club Barcelona.
However, the striker is still unhappy about how he was treated by the authorities, telling Kicker magazine: "A ban is one thing, but I could not even train. At the start, I was being treated worse than if I were a hooligan. On holidays, I was afraid to go and see my nephews playing for a youth team in Uruguay. The ban said I could not even step onto a football pitch -- something I still do not understand today."
Sounds like Suarez is never going to get it, is he?
