Figo was a hero for Barcelona between 1995 and 2000 before making the risky decision to jump ship and join Barca's fierce rivals Real Madrid for the next five years of his career which made him one of the most despised figures in Catalunya.
When he returned to the Camp Nou in the white of Real, he was met with jeers that would have been pleasant compared to the pig's head that was thrown at him in 2002.
