Louis van Gaal making Victor Valdes’ life a nightmare with humiliating training ground rules

Most managers would love to have that kind of experience on the training pitch and in the dressing room for the younger player's to soak up. But most managers aren't Louis van Gaal. The Manchester United boss has come up with a new embarrassing means of making Valdes' life miserable after the pair fell out over the goalkeeper's alleged refusal to play for the reserves. It looked for all the world that Valdes would be on his way to Besiktas in the summer but that fell through and now times have gotten even tougher for him at Old Trafford as Van Gaal has come up with some new training ground rules that ensure Valdes will be well and truly humiliated. The Mirror report that the ruthless Dutchman has banned Valdes from showing up to United's Carrington training ground while the first team are present. It's claimed that the Spanish stopper has to train on his own now and work his schedule around his teammates because if the first team trains in the morning, that means that he can't train until the afternoon. If they train in the afternoon, he has to come in early to get his work done. Valdes, who appeared almost 400 times for Barcelona, is now forced to train with the U21, U18 and academy goalkeeping coaches while David De Gea, Sergio Romero and Sam Johnstone get the first team treatment. Who could have predicted that Valdes' illustrious career would have ended in such ignominious fashion?
