There it is, in black and white, with a blue border.

Loris Karius is a new Liverpool goalkeeper, and we thought that he was about to settle in to be the back up to Simon Mignole next season. We were so certain of this fact, that we thought he would be joining the likes of Tony Warner as a benchwarmer from August on. https://twitter.com/SportsJOEdotie/status/735144032020664321 Lots, and we mean lots, of you disagreed with our view, and perhaps, good readers of SportsJOE, you were right. Because when you look at Loris Karius, and see how he compares over the course of 34 games against Simon Mignolet, well it makes for stark reading. The 22-year-old is coming off the back of a season when he was rated as one of the top three goalkeepers in the Bundesliga, and made an incredible 122 saves. That might mean he has a leaky defence in front of him, but it is the fact that he did not make a single goal costing error, compared to four the Belgian made, that really stands out. https://twitter.com/OptaFranz/status/735163778858405888 He's taken the number one jersey, and looking at his stats, he may soon be the number one man in goals too for Liverpool. It just makes sense doesn't it. Click snap
