Keeping hold of Coutinho will be one of Jurgen Klopp's primary pieces of business this summer as the club's Player of the Year has drawn some interested glances from Ligue 1 powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain, with reports that the French side have already reached out to Coutinho's representatives.
But it's a different team that Alves is recommending for the playmaker as he thinks Coutinho has what it takes to make it for Barcelona, the side at which Alves developed into one of the greatest full backs of all time.
