The club's partnership with the charity is said to have raised £250,000 to date with another windfall expected after the Monday evening Premier League kick-off.
As well as playing with the logo on their jersey, the club will donate a number of items - signed jerseys, signed captain's armband from Jordan Henderson and and autographed pair of specs from Klopp himself. Following the announcement of the initiative, Klopp commented:
"As somebody who wears glasses I know just how important sight is to my career and livelihood. That’s why this issue is particularly important to me.
