Liverpool's transfer committee may not be the brightest men in the world, and are routinely slagged for the less than stellar talents they have dragged through the doors at Anfield over the last number of years. But if reports today prove to be true, then they have done a bang-up job on managing to extract a few quid from a former Liverpool player, moving in this month's January transfer window. Jonjo Shelvey arrived at Liverpool in 2010 and exited the club after a mixed three years, landing at Swansea. Various reports this afternoon suggest that Liverpool are also set to make a nice profit on the midfielder.
