Liverpool players unhappy as Jurgen Klopp’s regime leaves them holding the babies

Jurgen Klopp is going back to the Westfalen, where he is adored.

The former Dortmund manager will be welcomed like a hero by the yellow wall, while German TV intends to train a camera on the Liverpool boss for the entire 90 minutes of Thursday's Europa League quarter-final first leg. Fans of histrionics and melodrama should be well catered for by the "Kloppcam" but it seems there are toys being throw out of the pram back on Merseyside too. Charlie Sale reports in the Wednesday's Daily Mail that changes to Liverpool's training regime have angered some of the German's squad - specifically those with children. Meticulous and innovative in his approach, Klopp has moved Liverpool's training sessions to 3pm, to mimic kick-off times. This means that players with children, rather than getting away in the morning, are left at home holding the baby while their partners take advantage of having a childminder in the house. Some squad members are complaining that this parenting leaves them tired arriving for training at Melwood. Sale notes, however, that these players are not complaining directly to Klopp. You don't want your manager accusing you of being a crybaby.
