Liverpool host Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday, December 1 in arguably the biggest Premier League game of the season so far.
The Reds are aiming to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to 11 points. Man City, meanwhile, are hoping to remain in the title race after losing five league matches in a row.
Last Saturday, Tottenham Hotspur beat City 4-0 at the Etihad.
The reigning Premier League champions are enduring their worst-ever run under Pep Guardiola and will need to arrest their slide at Anfield to turn their season around.
Arne Slot’s Liverpool side, on the other hand, are in commanding form. The Reds moved eight points clear of City after beating Southampton 3-2 last weekend.
In his first match against Guardiola, Slot will be aiming to assert dominance in the title race, and keeping his fingers crossed that Mohamed Salah's incredible run of form continues.
The kick-off time for the Premier League encounter has been moved from the traditional 4:30 pm slot.
Liverpool vs Man City will kick off at 4 pm instead. The new kick-off time is likely to relate to policing concerns.
The last two matches between the teams had earlier than usual kick-off times. In March 2024, the match at Anfield started at 3:45 pm. And in November 2023, the fixture started at 12:30 pm.
The earlier kick-off time for this weekend's clash has also affected the start times of the other Premier League fixtures.
Chelsea vs Aston Villa, Manchester United vs Everton, and Spurs vs Fulham will kick off at 1:30 pm, rather than the traditional 2 pm kick-off time for early Premier League games on Sundays.
Liverpool vs Man City be shown live on Sky Sports.
