It was a case of blood, sweat and tears for Martin Skrtel at Anfield yesterday, and he has the staples to prove it.
The Liverpool defender went from zero to hero against Arsenal, losing his man for the Gunners' opening goal, before earning the ten-man Reds a well-deserved late point with a superb header in injury-time.
In between, Skrtel required several minutes of attention to patch up a bloody head wound from the boot of Olivier Giroud, and the Slovakia international showed off the medical staff's handiwork after the game in an Instagram post.
