Manuel Pellegrini's side defeated the French side 1-0 on the night to go through to the competition's last four on aggregate. That victory triggered a clause in Raheem Sterling's contract and Liverpool are now richer to the tune of £300,000. kloppboop City paid Liverpool £44 million up front for the winger with another £5m due to be paid if Sterling and his new club reach certain targets, and results. If City go on to win the Champions League, Liverpool would reportedly get a £200,000 top-up on that initial bonus. What of Sterling himself?
