What is the problem with Christian Benteke for Liverpool fans?
The Aston Villa striker hasn't just always been reminding Brendan Rodgers of what he can do every time they play, but he proved under Sherwood - injury-free - that, when the team actually attacks, he can one of the most clinical players in the league.
Liverpool look to have turned their interest back to the big Belgian though with the Mirror reporting that they're ready to come back in for the striker with £25m in their hands to start with.
The Anfield club is said to have had a bid of around £22m turned down already with Villa holding out for Benteke's release clause of £32.5m to be met.
With Firmino, Ings and Milner already in the door, Clyne's arrival imminent, it looks as if Liverpool are trying to get their business done early this summer and Villa will have another decision to make this week.
But some Liverpool fans took to Twitter to voice their discontent at the prospect of the 24-year-old coming. We're not sure why. They're still supposed to be after Sevilla's Carlos Bacca but the prospect of Benteke isn't exciting the masses.
