Five minutes after Stuart Armstrong opened the scoring, Robertson claimed possession deep in his own half courtesy of a throw-out from goalkeeper Craig Gordon. Robertson then proceeded to feed teammate Matthew Phillips before busting a gut to get into the box. James Forrest was aware of Robertson's presence on the edge of the area and he duly teed him up to curl home a sumptuous finish to make the score 2-0.
