With Cristiano Ronaldo seemingly destined to claim the night's big prize, rival Lionel Messi made sure to get one shot in at the Real Madrid star while he could With both named to the Fifpro World XI, a lucky competition winner was given the opportunity to ask the pair, and fellow attacker Arjen Robben, which of their goals is their favourite. Answering first, Ronaldo offered the unbelievably cheesy 'For me, the next goal is the most important, all the time'. With the Portuguese looking incredibly pleased with himself, Messi took the mic next and offered up 'the header against Manchester', referring to the 2009 Champions League final goal that gave Barcelona a 2-0 win over Ronaldo's Manchester United side.
