Hamburg SV lost 2-0 to Wolfsburg at the weekend and then faced an even tougher foe - their irate supporters.
German sides have very close connections to their fan-base and images of players conversing, arguing or pleading with supporters is not uncommon. Borussia Dortmund famously did so earlier in the season.
Hamburg are now dogged by the spectre of relegation but their players assured fans they would fight until the end of the season.
One such player is on-loan Spurs midfielder, Lewis Holtby. He tried to placate Hamburg fans but was eventually drawn into an argument. Among his declarations was, 'I have some good matches. Sometimes I have shit matches, as well.'
