Stitching a steward a loaf is definitely a sackable offence.
Leverkusen defender Emir Spahic was at the centre of controversy on Wednesday following his side's loss to Bayern Munich in the DFB Polak Cup.
Spahic came off injured after 90 minutes with the game tied at 0-0. He then watched both side's fail to find the net for the entirety of extra time and could only look on as his side lost 5-3 on penalties.
Things kicked off after the penalty shoot-out as cameras caught Spahic arguing with stewards on the sideline. Apparently, the stewards wouldn't allow his friends across to the changing rooms from their private box and the Spahic headbutted a steward in the scuffle.
Spahic was key member of the Leverkusen first team and had started 22 of their 28 Bundesliga games this season. However, he will now have to find a new club and is likely to be handed a hefty ban from the game.
