The 1990s was a golden time for goalkeepers with names you just loved, or could barely pronounce.

Pegguy Arphexad, Rene Higuita, Tomica Marinovic and Sander Westerveld were just some of the names that always made us smile, and Newcastle United had two of the most memorable. Shaka Hislop and Pavel Srnicek were some of the best known names to front up between the sticks for the Magpies in the last 20 years, but sad news today reaches about the health of the Czech. According to reports, the 47-year-old is in hospital in a critical condition after suffering a heart attack in Ostrava on Sunday.
