Leeds secure deadline day move for Republic of Ireland midfielder

Eunan O'Kane is on the move.
The Republic of Ireland international has earned himself a deadline day move away from Bournemouth, with Jack Wilshere's impending arrival at the Vitality Stadium expected to have further hindered O'Kane's first team opportunities. O'Kane joins Leeds United on the final day of the transfer window, signing a two-year deal with the Championship club. https://twitter.com/LUFC/status/771048682737299457 The 26-year-old made 17 appearances for the Cherries last season but has failed to play a single minute in the Premier League this term. O'Kane becomes Leeds' 11th signing of the summer and will join up with his new teammates after he returns from international duty with the Republic of Ireland.
The county Derry man will play a vital role in getting Leeds' season back on track as manager Garry Monk already finds himself under pressure, with the club currently lying in 21st place in the Championship table after five games.
But, for Martin O'Neill, first-team chances for O'Kane at club level represent nothing but a good thing.
